VISITOR´S GUIDE
- Devices. This website is designed to be accessed from a computer. It is accessible in different formats for other devices such as tablets and mobile phones. On other devices the format for text and images may be different, but the content is the same. If you have problems with access for devices which are not computers, we would be grateful if you could advise us through the Contact page.
- Language. The master language of the website is English. It can be translated into 103 languages. The language can be changed by pressing any of the eight flags at the top right of the Welcome page, which represent the language of the country indicated by the flag. Please note that the language referred to inside the flap at the right does not change when you press the flag. If you wish to translate the website into a language not represented by the eight flags, please press the arrow next to the flap where you can then scroll to your required language in alphabetical order. Please also note that the translation is automated, and therefore not always entirely correct.
- Hyperlinks. Words in blue have hyperlinks which means that they are linked to other parts of this website or other websites. These websites will usually appear in their original language but may offer the facility of being translated into your own language. When you want to return to the B. Traven website, press the return button, normally at the top left of your browser.
- Continuous improvement. We think that this website is better than the previous B. Traven website. However, there is always room for improvement, and the fact that it is digital makes updating much easier than in the pre-digital era. If you find errors or omissions in any part of the website, we would be grateful if you could advise us through the Contact page. If you wish to share your views with other visitors we suggest that you do so in the Forum section.
